A home of balance

I am Cosima, 29 years old and work as a social media coordinator for a hotel in Munich. Together with my boyfriend I have lived in my apartment for 3 years. Our work brought us to Munich, but also the love for the city and surrounding nature. The furnishing style of the apartment is very plain, with light furniture and wood tones, quiet colours and a lot of cosiness. My source of inspiration is mainly interior designers, abstract artists but also nature itself and its earthy colours. I’d say my home reflects my basic feelings, which is balance. We have a very small winter garden which I think is my favourite spot, it’s a real feel-good room with a sofa, cuddly blanket and a beautiful window front which looks out onto the city - eating a piece of cake here in winter is the greatest. I love my home and welcoming people around me, it makes for a calming atmosphere in here. Not everything has to be new, the most beautiful things are those that tell a story.
